Good Teams
The Crimson Tide knows how to win in baseball. They are tied with LSU in terms on regular season titles. They have won 7 SEC Tournament Championships. The Crimson Tide teams have been to the College World Series a total of five times in their history. There were many fans there with their Alabama Crimson Tide merchandise on. They finished second twice. They call Sewell-Thomas Stadium home.
Their women’s softball team has been in existence for only twelve years but they have quickly climbed up the ladder. They have won about 75 percent of their games and have made it to the NCAA tournament every year since 1999. They have won the SEC Softball Tournament a total of 3 times.
The head coach of Florida’s baseball team is Kevin O’Sullivan. 2005 was the best season for the Gators. During that good year, there were many fans waving their Florida Gators merchandise. The team won the SEC title and advanced to the College World Series which they haven’t been in 7 years. The baseball team has made it to the championship round five times.
The 2006 team had high expectations. They were number 1 in many of the polls that came out. The team struggled that season. They were around 0.500 towards the end of the season. They didn’t make the tourney because of the tough SEC.
McMahon, the coach, was fired in 2007 after the team failed to make the tournament the following year.
Florida’s softball team started playing in 1995.
Georgia’s baseball team is often overlooked because of their good women’s basketball team. Their fans still love their team. They come to the games decked out in Georgia Bulldogs merchandise.
LSU’s baseball team has won five national championships in the past two decades. Their fans love waving their LSU Tigers merchandise. The team is coached by Paul Mainieri. The women’s softball team is coached by Yvette Girouard.
The Texas Longhorns have the most wins in all of college baseball. They have many records. Many fans get really loud wearing their Texas Longhorns merchandise as their team gets close to breaking a record. Augie Garrido is the coach at Texas and he is also the winningest in baseball history.
