Alabama formed a football team with 19 players. The school only recognizes 12 of their 16 championships. They love their Alabama Crimson Tide merchandise.
The Florida Gators started playing football with an official team in 1906. The team plays at Ben Hill Griffin Stadium.
Florida plays twelve football games in the regular season, with eight being conference. Two of Florida’s biggest rivals in football are Georgia and Tennessee. These games feature a lot of Florida Gators merchandise in the stands. Florida plays Georgia every year at a site that’s intended to be neutral. Jacksonville, FL is where these two teams play at. The site is not that neutral to Georgia fans because they have hundreds of miles to travel from Athens, while Gator fans are only about 70 miles from Jacksonville.

Urban Meyer began coaching in December 2004. Since he started coaching, Florida has been one of the most successful teams in the country. The school won national championships in 2006 and 2009 by beating Ohio State and Oklahoma, respectively.
The Georgia Bulldogs play their home football games in their 93,000 seat Sanford Stadium. They wear a lot of Georgia Bulldogs merchandise to their home games, and especially when rivals are in town.
Auburn has historically been Georgia’s biggest rival. They have celebrated success recently.
Georgia will be playing Florida in Jacksonville, FL through 2010. Georgia holds the advantage in the series, even though Florida has been narrowing the gap as of late.
LSU play at Tiger Stadium in front of over 92,000 people waving their LSU Tigers merchandise. LSU have won three championships in their history, with the last one being in 2007. In 2008, LSU became the first two loss team that played for and actually won the national championship. They have won a SEC championship 10 times.
Texas is now the second winningest college football program. They sure know how to pack their house wearing Texas Longhorns merchandise. Their last big win was in the 2008 against Ohio State by 3 points.
